The administrators of the virtual research environments have privileged rights in the portal (VRE-Manager or VO-Admin), which allow them to access numerous portlets restricted to simple users. Through the administrative portlets, they can create and modify the layout of a VO/VRE, administer the users of the portal, import content and manage collections, resources and indices.
