Role Release Manager

Role Description

The Release Manager is responsible for the management of the D4Science Release and Maintenance Cycles. The main tasks are:

• run local/remote subsystem builds
• manage daily build scheduling and executions
• monitor defects and activities at project-level
• create new Subsystems in ETICS
• create project configurations aggregating Subsystem configurations
• grant rights in the scope of the project (e.g. to Subsystem Managers)
• schedule release cycles for D4Science software
• receive notifications from Subsystem Managers about new Subsystem releases
