GCube Data Transfer Facilities

This section groups the components which implement Data Transfer in gCube. The aim of this part of the wiki is to give a brief overview of the components ( which are better described under the gCube features section at Data Transfer Scheduler & Agent components) and focus mainly on the aspect of integration with respect to the other gCube components or external clients.

The following components have been implemented or are under implementation:

• The Data Transfer Agent Service

• The Data Transfer Scheduler Service
• The Data Transfer Scheduler Library
• The Data Transfer Portlet
• The Data Transfer Common Messaging Interface
• The Storage Manager Portlet

The components implemented are based on the GRS2 component which is described under the Information Retrieval section.
