Role Description
The Release Manager is responsible for the management of the D4Science Release and Maintenance Cycles. The main tasks are:
- run local/remote subsystem builds
- manage daily build scheduling and executions
- monitor defects and activities at project-level
- create new Subsystems in ETICS
- create project configurations aggregating Subsystem configurations
- grant rights in the scope of the project (e.g. to Subsystem Managers)
- schedule release cycles for D4Science software
- receive notifications from Subsystem Managers about new Subsystem releases
