Among the facilities gCube offers, there are some relying on a Spatial Data Infrastructure.

These facilities include spatial data discovery (by a catalogue), storage and access (by a federation of repositories), processing (by an extensible analytic platform), visualisation (by a map container).

discovery, processing and visualisation.

In order to benefit from these gCube facilities it is thus a pre-requisite to realize a Spatial Data Infrastructure as follows:

  1. Install and Configure GeoNetwork;
  2. Install and Configure GeoServer;
  3. Install and Configure THREDDS Data Server;
  4. Install and Configure GeoFence;
  5. Install and Configure 52° North Web Processing Service (ask T2);
    1. Integrate Legacy Applications (is this the right place?);
  6. Install and Configure GDAL;

Are all these technologies mandatory? We should say something on this ... e.g. xxx is needed to have these facilities working.
